No passado dia 14 de Abril este senhor teria feito 48 anos. Partiu cedo demais. Era um ícone no mundo da escalada e do desporto aventura. Mostrou que é preciso viver ao máximo, aproveitar tudo o que a vida nos dá. Mas ensinou, também, a triste realidade que viver ao máximo, sem estabelecer limites do que é seguro (dentro da santidade da vida) pode sair muito caro. Os extremos são sempre perigosos, seja para os que arriscam a vida nos limites, seja para os que arriscam a vida sentados no sofa, em completa inactividade, a comer porcarias. Ainda é melhor a primeira hipótese, não haja duvidas.
A tua vida é um presente, pensa nisso.

On the 14th of April, this man would have turned 48 years old. He left too soon. He was an icon in the world of rock climbing and adventure sports. He showed that it is necessary to live to the fullest, to enjoy everything that life gives us. But he also taught the sad reality that living to the fullest, without setting limits on what is safe (within the sanctity of life) can be very expensive. Extremes are always dangerous, either for those who risk their lives on the edge, or for those who risk their lives sitting on the couch, in complete inactivity, eating junk food. The first hypothesis is still better, there is no doubt.
