A Promessa

"Promise"

I gave till all was given
I spent till all was spent
I longed for a smile, a word of cheer
But none came to soothe, no one to share
I cried and would have run but knew not where

Sweet Jesus come and take my sorrow
Oh help me hold out till tomorrow
Though all alone i walk, no earthly tie
I trust that someday i'll know why

Then Jesus called me to His side
Saying: "Child, do not cry
I laid all aside and calvary was my return
This life is but a moment
Your choice is what's important
A crown awaits the faithful who hold until the end"

Friend, if you are trying
If it's not fair, and no one cares
If life has left you crying, oh let me share
Oh be aware, that

Jesus calls you to His side
Saying: "Child, do not cry
Thought the road is long my love is there for you
This life is but a moment
Your choice is what's important
A crown awaits the faithful who hold until the end"

"My word has never yet returned unto me void
And those that suffer for my sake
Obtain the promise that a crown awaits above
And i await each hand to take
Of every promise, a blessing make"

"This life is but a moment
Your choice is what's important
A crown awaits the faithful who hold until the end."

Christmas is dead. [O Natal está morto.]

Christmas. I remember when it meant something. When the whole family used to get together in my grandmother's house. The fireplace. The smiles. The joy. The innocence. Not anymore, that day is long gone. I can hardly tell its Christmas season. Now it only means something because i can be with the ones i love. That's it. Its all about the ones i love. The rest of it... i don't care anymore. I think the little child inside of me that liked Christmas a little bit... is dying. If it wasn't about the fact that i am going to be with the one i love, the one that fills my heart with warm feelings, this would probably be the saddest Christmas of my life. Christmas is dead. RIP Christmas.

[Natal. A alegria. A inocência. O resto...

Sola Scriptura

Either we believe in God, as a Creator of all things, and in Jesus, as Redeemer of all creatures, and let our minds be enlightened by the Spirit, or we submit to the slavery of thousands of years of lying and misleading fantasies, created for the sole purpose of destroying the human race.
